Internet-based Polling and Online Surveys

The Zogby Online Survey is conducted via sub-panels of individuals around the world that have agreed to participate from time to time in online opinion research studies. Participants are randomly contacted by email, and if they agree to participate, are able to login to a secure username and password protected website. No participant that is invited to our surveys will know ahead of time the subject matter of the survey.

Potential respondents are randomly sampled from the panels. Quota sampling is used as needed to ensure the sample composition resembles the target population. For a standard nationwide survey, sampling is proportional to gender, age, race, and geography. This type of random survey methodology is highly accurate, cost-effective, and efficient.

Live Operator Telephone Polling

Each Zogby telephone survey is conducted by live interviewers using Computer Aided Telephone Interviewing (CATI) software that utilizes the latest technology for sample management, question design, advanced question triggering, and security. Utilizing live in-person interviewers to conduct surveys increases efficiency, lowers non-response bias, and results in the highest quality data possible making our call center one of the most professional and effective call centers in the public opinion research industry-in addition to being one of the few in-house call centers.  Each one of our professional interviewers has 10+ years' experience conducting surveys.

Automated Telephone Polling

In automated telephone polling, respondents are contacted over the phone by our in-house computer software platform. This gives Zogby Analytics total control over the entire survey process, providing consistency, efficiency of and low desirability bias of online surveys over the phone. Our automated surveys can be conducted via the general public, a targeted phone list, or membership list, on important issues that an organization is facing. Automated surveys are effective because of the sheer volume of responses that they receive. Whether from a simple one question poll to a complex multi-question survey, our automated surveys can provide critical feedback on important issues quickly.
