A new Zogby Analytics Interactive survey of 1,003 Chinese Business Leaders, conducted between 6/17/16 - 6/22/16 with a margin of error of +/- 3.2 percentage points, shows Chinese Business Leaders favor the presumptive Republican nominee slightly more than his Democratic rival, Hillary Clinton.

When it comes to the intensity of each candidate's favorability rating, Hillary Clinton edges Donald Trump among Chinese Business Leaders, with 26% of Chinese Business Leaders surveyed saying they are very favorable of Clinton, while 23% of them are very favorable of Trump. When the options of very favorable and somewhat favorable are combined, Donald Trump's overall favorability rating is higher at 74% compared to Hillary Clinton's overall favorability rating at 70%. Regarding each candidate's unfavorable rating, more Chinese Business Leaders are unfavorable (28%) of Hillary Clinton--very unfavorable (8%) and somewhat unfavorable (20%), compared to 19% of Chinese Business Leaders who are unfavorable of Donald Trump--very unfavorable (4%) and somewhat unfavorable (15%).
Such impressive numbers among the Chinese business community might be explained by the fact that Donald Trump has had successful business ventures around the world and he was a popular reality star, while Hillary Clinton is considered to be a Wall St. friendly candidate, something her Democratic rival, Bernie Sanders, has mentioned on many occasions.
